Vehicle Description
Up for sale is a 2002 Acura TL with factory navigation. The car is being sold because we bought a new vehicle with AWD. The vehicle is in overall good condition. It is pearl white with tan leather. As with all Acuras, it is fully loaded with all power equipment including heated front seats with memory and HID headlights. THE GOOD: Mechanically this Acura is great. The engine idles and runs very smoothly and quietly. There is plenty of power yet gas mileage is still good (somewhere around 25mpg give or take). The timing belt was changed by the original owner. The transmission was replaced in October of 2006 (recalled by Acura). The paint shines nicely and the leather interior is in good shape showing only normal wear for the age (no rips or stains in the leather). The bumpers have no dents, scratches, or any other damage. The tires have decent tread left (I would estimate about 60%). THE BAD: This vehicle appears to have had quite a bit of paintwork. However, the only panels that have ever been replaced were the LT fender and front bumper. All the other panels still have the original VIN tags. The LT fender and front bumper were replaced recently, it was a light fender bender. The clearcoat finish on 3 of the 4 wheels is peeling. There are a few areas where the paint is peeling (RT front door near the body molding and RT rocker under the rear door, these areas are not noticeable until you are close and no one notices unless I point it out). TO SUM UP, OVERALL THE VEHICLE IS IN GOOD SHAPE BUT UP CLOSE IT DOES HAVE BLEMISHES HERE AND THERE. PLEASE DO NOT EXPECT TO BE GETTING A MINT CONDITION VEHICLE. WHAT YOU WILL GET IS A MECHANICALLY SOUND ACURA THAT IS IN OVERALL GOOD SHAPE CONSIDERING ITS AGE AND MILEAGE. THANKS FOR LOOKING, FEEL FREE TO ASK ANY QUESTIONS.
