Vehicle Description
Very clean '99 Avura TL - good for parts or repair. I've owned this car for the last 30k miles, and it's always been a very strong, very comfortable car. It's always tended to run hot, and tends to go through radiator fluid, and when I first got the car four years ago my mechanic told me it probably has a cracked head. And it probably does, but it hasn't stopped me from driving it to my heart's content, as long as I have kept an eye on the radiator fluid.
About two months ago the radiator gave out, and I blew the radiator hose. After replacing the hose and driving home, the car has been in my driveway ever since. Since I was ready to buy a new car anyway, I didn't want to invest any more in this one.
This car has 4 brand new tires with under 2000 miles on them.
This is a NO RESERVE auction, so some enterprising buyer could get a real bargain, and with a bit of repair work have a very nice ride.
There are three other known defects on this car: 1) there's a minor ding on the rear driver's side, 2) the rear driver-side door handle doesn't work from the outside, and 3) the heated leather seats don't work.
Buyer is solely responsible for picking up the vehicle. The car runs, but with the bad radiator you can only drive for 15 minutes or so.
