I am selling my 1997 A4 Quattro. I was originally going to fix it and throw a BIG turbo on the car, but just ran out of time and interest. The engine was not running properly and I took it into a local shop. The guys there told me the engine really needed to be rebuilt. So I was kinda excited because I wanted to build a motor and throw a big turbo on it. I ordered a few thousand dollars worth of motor parts like oversized pistons etc. I removed the head and started to break down the motor. Well somewhere in there I lost interest. I sold off most of the engine parts, except the pistons and a few other things. I do still have the cylinder head, but I have it listed for sale on another site. I was also going to part the car out, so I sold the mirrors, front bumper, and rear swaybar. I also lost interest in that, so I decided to sell it as one project (except for some of the new parts that I am selling seperate like pistons, extreme nuespeed TIP, etc). You can see the condition of the car in the photos.
Exterior: The rear bumper has paint chipped off and would need to be sanded and painted. The front passenger quarter panel has a dent (you see it in photos), but you could get it popped out by those dentless paint removal people. There is not front bumper or mirrors.
Interior: Is in god shape. The drivers seat does have a tear in the seam, it is about 3" long. This is not uncommon in these cars. Has a lot of extras like Carbon Fiber trim kit, kenwood radio, autometer boost and A/F gauges.
Motor: Needs to be rebuilt or replaced. I also sold the stock turbo and aftermarket exhaust. The tranny is in great shape.
The car has the following:
Eibach springs
GIAC chip in ECU
Nuespeed front sway bar
4 almost new 18" tires with less than 1,000 miles
Blisten shocks
Wheels do have curb rash on all of them, I sold the wheels that I had on it
And some other things I am forgetting
Alarm/ Automatic starter
This car would be a great car to fix your recked A4, or just a good parts car. I have all the parts like the radiator, altenator, etc in the trunk of the car.
