Vehicle Description
Up for auction is a 97 A4 Quattro. It gets about 26 mpg on highway which is really good for a full time all wheel drive vehicle. After I bought it in January this year, I replaced the timing belt, timing belt tensioner, water pump, brake fluid, air filter, and cabin filter. Oil change every 3000 miles. Those 2.8 engines don't have the oil sludge problem like 1.8 turbos do.
The interior is very clean except for a small blemish in the driver seat. The exterior has scratchs here and there like you would expect on a 11 year old car. Everything on the car works like it should. The check engine light is on for an EGR fault, but other than that it doesn't have any drivability issues.
It runs very smooth. I would keep this car, but I am moving soon and that's why I am selling it. Mileage may be more because I still drive it every day. There is no reserve on this auction. Let the market set the price.
