Vehicle Description I know, I know. The mileage is on the high side. It's true. But in spite of the high miles this car is in exceptional condition. At the last inspection my mechanic actually walked from his computer back to the car to check the miles and the year three times because he couldn't believe it. It looks good, feels good, smells good. When I tell friends that I'm selling it they always make the sad face, just like if I told them my dog died. The flaws are few and minor. The biggest issue is the Check Engine Light comes on a few minutes after startup, mostly in cold weather, due to a bad upstream oxygen sensor. It's a relatively easy fix but there are no symptoms and I have an Actron OBDII scan tool (included in the sale) which can turn off the CEL so I've just been living with it. There is a small pull in the leather on the front center arm rest on the driver's side which is only noticeable when there is no driver in the seat resting his or her arm. The digital display in the center of the instrument cluster gets glitchy sometimes, mostly in cold weather. This is a known issue with these LCD displays and is another easy fix that I chose not to bother with. The car has new 18" wheels and high performance tires, and the sale also includes the original 16" alloy wheels with 4-season tires that are pretty worn but did pass inspection. The brake calipers are red, stock specs. The pads and rotors are EBC all around with slotted sport rotors in the front. I have aftermarket floor mats that match the interior. I use the original mat in the driver position so the newer mat is still nice and clean. Also included is a rear lip spoiler that has never been installed. You'd want to have it painted and installed by a professional. I've seen them on other cars and it looks really good if you want a sporty look. This car is has been extremely reliable. In just over three years it's taken exactly one trip to the repair shop (not including inspections) and that was for a torn CV boot from hitting a piece of wood that fell off a truck on the interstate. Other than that, in three years and 60,000 miles NOTHING HAS CHANGED! This is a solid automobile. I shopped for American cars before I opted to spend more than twice as much money on an Audi and I've never regretted it for a second. It's built ten times smarter, better, stronger, faster. I urge you to check the CarFax report, or get it from me. The car has one minor accident indicator. The damage was cosmetic and was repaired by a very reputable shop associated with the insurance company. It's actually better now than it was before the incident... Before I bought this car I asked myself what I would consider to be the ideal car for me. Quick, stylish, luxurious, all wheel drive, stick shift. After shopping around for a while I determined that this is the only car from around this year that meets all of my criteria. You can find faster or softer or more expensive, but you'd always be compromising one thing for another. And as a side note this car is great for tall people. I'm 6'8" tall. There are a lot of cars that I simply can't fit into, and I'm more comfortable in my A6 than in many American trucks and full-size luxury cars. I'd prefer a local sale but I'm willing to deliver this car myself within two hours of 11782 if my costs are covered. I can also drive it to a trucking yard near NYC for shipping if necessary. All questions are welcome and I will answer quickly. If you're a serious bidder you should probably have some questions and you should have read the entire description carefully. Bidders with negative feedback are invited not to participate. Thanks for reading.
