Vehicle Description
This is my dream car. I am buying a new home and need to sell, like it or not. This car is truly an exceptional original. The only non original items in the car are the stereo and the antenna. I still have the original stereo, goes with the car. Even the struts and shocks are Boge. Overall the car is in amazing condition for what has been a daily driver for the majority of it's life. The car has been my Sunday car for about a year and a half. The paint is original and the interior is as well. Look at the photos and you will get a pretty good idea of the overall condition. There are a couple of things that are not perfect, they are; the dash is cracked from sun exposure (typical), The odometer has not worked for the last 5,000 miles or so (also typical) and the A/C needs recharging or conversion to 134 refridgerant ( I have not converted it do to the desire to keep it original and I have been trying find an old timer that has some r12 hanging around that I could pay to recharge it). If you are a fan of the coupes, as I am, you will notice very few in the condition and treated with the love that this one has been. This is a true Audi coupe fan's dream. I do not want anyone to think this coupe has been restored in any way, it is truly original and would make a fantastic restoration. I would hate to see it cut up for parts or racing. Of course if you buy it then it is yours to do what you wish, however there are other coupes out there better suited for the chop and rebuild shop. The clutch was replaced earlier this year as have the rear wheel bearings. Outside of that there is nothing that needs work immediatly or for the forseeable future. Even the tires are in excellent shape with a ton of tread left. Even though you will not be dissapointed I must include the fact that the car is sold as-is and where-is.

I will not sell this car to anyone outside the country, so don't even ask. I despise scammers. Payment is to be by PayPal, check or money order only. Once payment is clear I will forward the title in an overnight envelope or it can be picked up when the car is picked up. If you want it delivered within 50 miles I will do it for an additional $50 (fuel cost) as a courtesy. I will be as helpfull as possible but you are responsible for picking the car up.
