Vehicle Description
PLEASE READ.
This is my first time selling on eBay, so I am going to list everything I know of and the list everything the best I can about the vehicle. I have a very good rating as a buyer and I hope that I can have good ratings as a seller too. Thanks for looking at my listing.
NOTE:
The car is currently located at Stony Brook area. During the weekends I drive it back to the city to visit my family. I never dealt with shipping of a motor vehicle so the car needs to be picked up either around the long island area, or in the city of New York. New Jersey is fine too. If you win this auction for the vehicle, we can arrange for a pick up or I can drive the vehicle to you. If I Drive the vehicle to you please note that the gas will be lower than posted. The mileage on the car right now is 100817 and it has 50% of the gas tank full.
The Car is in great shape. Never been into an accident. Clean Title, Lien has been satistified, and i have paper work to prove it. Title transfered to my name with no problems when i registered the car. It RUNS and DRIVES, I drive it during the weekends and when ever the sun is out. GREAT CAR FOR THE SUMMER, for College, or Commuter car. The interior is in fantastic shape has no rips. It currently has 100817 miles on it. The car have about slightly over half of tank of gas in it.
My reason for selling this car is that I currently own two cars, and decided to keep the other since the other car is bigger.
The mileage on this car is all Highway miles. I only drive it from Long island to the city. The oil and transmission fluids have just been recently done. The Oil is changed every 3000 miles and only Premium Synthetic oil is used. The transmission fluid is changed every 30,000 miles. Only 93 octane gas used, which is Super or Premium depending on which gas station you go to. I used Shell which is known as V-power for their 93 octane gas.

RIMS with NEW TIRES ALL AROUND FRONT AND BACK. Just changed 1 week ago. and only drove 10 miles on it, from the place I changed the tires back to where I live.
Tire size is P205 55r 16
(Timing belt was done at 65k by the previous owner)
I have the service records of the recent work done, but the previous owner has the records of the timing belt. there is a lien record from the previous owner, but it was satisfied. you may call americredit to confirm with the vin number posted and they can confirm to you that it has been cleared. I also have the paper work proving the lien has been cleared and satistfied. I was informed that the records on the vehicle can be found at any Audi dealer, due to how the previous owner got all his work done at the dealership.

NO LEAKS AT ALL. Check the weather around the New York Long Island zip code 11793 Area and you can see that it rained heavily the past week and there are NO leaks into the car.
Please note that there is typical wear and tear due to its age and that this is a used car, but nothing that is major.
Here is a list of what needs to be fixed, unless the winner of the auction chooses not to replace it.
The A/C stopped working recently. I took it to the Mechanic and was told that all it needs is a FREON recharge.
I would have done it, but the nozzle for the recharge, needs to be retro fitted. My mechanic does not have the adapter for it due to how German cars are slightly different than American cars and Japanese cars.
The front left head light has a crack in it. Still works I have already taped it up. The Crack was caused by pebbles on the road. I was quoted 250 for parts and labor on the headlight.
The passenger side mirror (left side) is also cracked (mirror glass only. Shown in picture below), but works fine. The power mirrors adjusts normally and you can still see. I searched online and noticed that a replacement mirror glass is only 14 dollars.
The convertible top worked one month ago, but when I tried to open it on July 26 it did not open. But the TOP works MANUALLY. The Mechanic says that the all the wires and top works fine, but the reason for it to not work automatically is the STRUT (show in picture) that holds the compartment door open needs to be replaced due to its old age. I was quoted 400 for parts and labor.
Approx 700 to 800 dollars worth of replacing needed. But if you want to save yourself money, you can manually put the top down, and the headlight still works with no moisture getting into the car.
The stereo unit was removed recently (it has stopped working) A replacement can be found at Circuit City or Best Buy I saw radio units with MP3/IPOD adapters for 100 to 150 dollars with installation. Or a better unit can be purchased at those locations.
The Car has a Bluebook value of 6500 so for the price i am listing, you will still be saving.
A deposit of 500 dollars is required within three days of the auction. I take Pay pal, USPS Money Orders, and CASH in person only.
Buyer is responsible for shipping and pick up.
