1967 Vanden Plas Princess 4 Ltr. R
This car is a British right hand drive with a Rolls Royce engine. We bought it in the fall of last year hoping it would interest our teenage son. It was driven the day we bought it but seems to have developed a carburetor problem over the winter. The motor and transmission seem fine otherwise. The interior is in great condition with just the carpets needing shampooing. All of the wood is in restorable condition and all of the glass is in pristine condition. There are no major dents or dings and the body is straight. The paint is peeling fairly severely especially on the bonnet and there is sun damage to the remainder. All the rust appear to be surface. We have the workshop manual and the owner's manual as well as few new spare filters and parts. It had a complete vehicle inspection in 1992 and has been parked since. There is only 32 miles on odometer since the inspection. Parts for this vehicle appear to be easily sourced and are available both in Britain and the U.S as well as Canada.
This is a great little car that appears to be mostly mechanically sound and in need of some cosmetic body work. Would be a great project for anyone willing to take it on with not to much effort involved in restoring it to it's former glory. It is available for viewing to anyone in the Edmonton and vicinity area. Reserve is low as we are in need of the garage space. Please feel free to email us with any questions and we will answer them promptly. Please note this revision to our original ad:
The headliner is drooping at the front and come away a little at the back. The foam had deteriorated and needs replacing, there are no tears or staining in the headliner so it would be a relatively easy repair.
