Rare, Austin Healey 100 BN2 four sp with OD. excellent condition many new parts. runs and drives great, recent paint job. Model with One of only two years with race mode front windshield designed to increase top speed. Serious inquirys only.
On May-14-08 at 11:42:02 PDT, seller added the following information:
Both side curtains are in good condition, convertable top frame is in good condition but needs new cloth. Car was very straight prior to paint and only repair was to small rust holes behind front wheels. Fuel tank has new light wieght aluminum plus original tank cleaned and boxed. electronic ignition and high volt coil installed, all original parts retained. all gauges work as do all lights, most everything is original lucus that came with car with exception of left rear brake lamp broke while removing for paint so has aftermarket lense. replaced brake system, tires, most hoses, bulbs, radiator and rebuilt carbs. runs good and drives straight. I keep it in garage and drive it only weekends. windshield is in great shape and chrome is very presentable from a couple feet. when you get close you can see some pitting so if your looking to restore for gold concourse you would want to replace.
My uncle bought this car fully restored 29 years ago and his wife didn't like her hair blowing :) so he garaged it until I bought it 4 years ago. I dont know history prior to that. vin is bn2l232885
