Handsome two-seat roadster - a real eye-catching "driver" and very fun to drive. Extensively restored (but not "ground-up") "15 footer" with a sound engine and drive train capable of long tours. No dents or dings. Very minor rust problems in wheel wells remaining (Some prior rust restoration has been done). Paint condition extremely good. Many, many new replacement parts, including: interior upholstery, windshield, bumpers guards, knock-off hubs, mirrors and other items. Beautiful, like-new 72-spoke chrome wheels with like-new Michelin classic tires on all four. Original top and side curtains (windows). Includes tonneau cover and full-car fabric dust cover. Brake and suspension systems, radiator/cooling system and electric overdrive recently restored/overhauled. Have extensive records of professional shop work done during current ownership, and some prior ownership shop records back to 1977. Speedometer not operating - shows 10800 miles, but records show it was at 10800 way back in 1978. Optional restoration still needed: Engine room made pretty, dash and instruments repaired/restored and heater repaired (like who needs a heater in a Healey anyway?). On May-24-08 at 08:46:41 PDT, seller added the following information: At the request of a potential bidder, a closer insepction of the car has revealed previously un-noticed rust damage along the full length of the right-side sill member inner face. No similar rust damage is visible on the left sill, except for a small area forward of the left front outrigger. The outriggers, main frame and X frame members and floor pans do not have visible rust damage. Photos of the rust damaged right sill are available upon request by E-mail directly from the owner. I regret that this information was not available and included in the original posting.
