1st of all b4 i get all kinds of emails this vehicle has the original stainless rocker moldings there are a few picturs taken with aftermarket ones on when the others were misplaced but it now has the original ones back on. Also i will be in alaska from the 24-6 of august so i most likely will not be able to answer any questions after the 23rd but my wife wii send payment instructions upon auction end if u get lucky i will get service but dont count on it. Now thats out of the way here we go!
So you want a classic, but you also want to be able to drive it. You know that if you buy a gas hog camaro, mustang, firebird, charger etc etc you can afford to buy one but you cant afford to drive it. Now that new gas prices have gone through the roof you know it will cost you $40/hr to drive one of those gas hogs. So now that you and everyone else has figured that one out. Everyone including yourself wants a little bmr, fiat, triumph or somethng small and economical thats way cool and not a everyone owns one kinda car. Now that you've figured out that the only way you can own and actually afford to drive a classic is that it has to be little like this one that will get 27- 30 mpg not 7-10.This vehicle has just gone through an extensive beautiful restoration and yes the title states actual miles. The motor on this vehicle runs perfect and with the low miles on it im sure this vehicle will be around for years to come. The clutch is strong and the transmission shifts like it should. The front struts have been replaced with newer ones as have the calipers, pads and rubber lines (which as you know rot internaly from the toxins in brake fluid). The car drives and handles as goods as it runs with no shakes, shimmies, strange noises or obnoxious fumes of any kind. The tie rod ends are newer as are the rear shocks. The paint is of very high quality which only needed to be done because of fading. The vehicle did not need any body work or rust repair done. The entire outer of the vehicle was dissasembled prior to paint as well as the front and rear windshields removed. As you can see the car has all new door weather gasketing, trunk gasketing and front and rear window gasketing. As you can also see the door handle gaskets and emblems are new. For all you snow bunnies out there you know how hard these cars are to find and how bad they rot out in bad weather so just for you this vehicle has even been undercoated with rubberized undercoating to keep it solid as a rock. The old seating is now brand new as well as the headliner and the european type carpeting. The interior looks ten times better in person i guess i took the pictures at a funny time of the day because it looks so much better in person or maby because i wiped down the interior right b4 the pictures, anyway its brand new, looks awesome and blows away the pictures. The rare sunroof has been rebuilt with new factory cables and gasketing. The tires are new as are the beauty rings. The exhaust is solid and the muffler, tail pipe and exhaust manifold flange gasket is new. The battery is also new. The lower rocker panel moldings were misplaced when the car was disassembled thats why the vehicle has non factory lower rocker moldings in some pictures, but dont fret we found them. This car is a prime example of a sthrn. calif. rust and rot free vehicle and why San Diego is known world wide by car collectors as the only place to find a rust free vehicle like this. They know that with an average of less than 50% humidity and 74 deg avg annual daily temp rust free rock solid cars like this still exist. If you are lucky enough to find one you are looking for then you have just scored. With nearly perfect feedback and over $2.6 million in vehicles auctioned off by us here on ebay most of our vehicle auctions are ended early with serious offers. (Not emails asking, what we need to end the auction early but offers). So if you snooze off and its gone dont say i didn't warn you.The emergency break cables are streatched and do need to be replaced with some that are include with the vehicle or maby just adjusted.
