Description
You are looking at a 1998 BMW 323ic convertible in Artic White with tan leather interior powered by a 2.5L V6 DOHC engine, automatic transmission and rear wheel drive. Equipped with heated leather seats, fog lamps, AM/FM stereo/cassette, CD changer, cruise control, a manual convertible top and complete set of owners literature. This sports car uses regular gas with EPA 17 MPG City and 25 MPG Hwy. Consumers have reported 31 average MPG. The Clean Carfax verifies two owners and no accidents or other discrepancies. The car spent 9 months in Colorado before coming to Florida. I was able to have a nice conversation with the second owner. Actually the Father of the second owner, who purchased the car for his daughter to drive back and forth to college. He was somewhat dismayed that she traded it in for a new Mazda without his knowledge, as he would have liked to have kept the car. He stated that it received regular maintenance and was a very trouble free, dependable car. They did replace the radiator and the convertible top, which is in very good condition. The car is in excellent mechanical condition. No issues with engine or drive train. It drives straight down the road. Inspected and serviced with fresh oil and filter, new wiper blades and a new catalytic convertor (worked fine but had an annoying internal rattle). All power accessories, including cruise control and heated seats, work properly. A/C is ice cold. The manual convertible top is easily operated by one person and will save you potentially thousands of dollars that would be spent to repair a power top. The infornation center on the dash allows you to do a system diagnosis with the push of a button. No issues reported. The paint has a very nice shine and finish. No dents, dings or scratches. There are a couple of small spots on the hood where the clearcoat has peeled but are almost unnoticeable. I couldn't get them to show up in the photos. The glass, exterior lamps and trim are all very nice. The alloy wheels are clean and the Bridgestone radials have 80-85% tread. The interior shows virtually no wear. The trunk is very clean and comes with full size spare, jack and most of the tool kit. You would never guess the miles on this car if you inspected and drove it. Terms and Conditions
Fee and Tax Information: Tax will be collected from all Florida residents. If you are from out of state and driving home, you will have to pay your State sales tax up to 6%. You will also get a temporary tag that is good for 30 days that will allow you to drive the car home. You will get a Florida form DR123 showing tax paid in Florida and your local tax collector will give you full credit for tax paid in Florida. If the car is being transported by a licensed ICC carrier there will be no tax collected but you will still be responsible for sales tax in your home State, if a tax exists. We have a $95.00 fee for all transactions to cover the cost of the courier services and miscellaneous items.
Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end, and make arrangements for payment at that time. A $500.00 deposit is due within 24 hours of end of auction. The remainder is due within 5 days of auction end. If no contact is made within 24 hours we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next high bidder, or sell it otherwise. Most banks and credit unions do not finance vehicles older than 1995 or with more than 100K miles. Make sure if financing that your financial institution accepts the year and miles of this vehicle before bidding. Please arrange financing prior to bidding.
Buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. If you wish to have it shipped using a service, we will gladly cooperate. You can locate shippers by doing a search for `auto shippers`.
