This auction is for a nice hunter's green 1999 BMW 5-series fully loaded Sport Wagon. It has 84,200 miles on the clock, tan leather interior, Burlwood trim, sunroof, triptronic and sport mode transmission, driver and passenger power seats, premium sound includes cassette player and 6-cd changer, ice cold climate control, front, side and curtain airbags, recent oil change and service was performed. This BMW performs just as well as you would expect from a BMW, the engine is very responsive and powerful when needed. The engine has been well maintained (as seen in the pictures). This car rides on four Continental Contact tires with good tread. The car comes with a working remote control alarm key and a valet key. Now to some negatives.... While this car was parked in a parking lot another veichle clipped the front wing and bumper. The bumper was replaced with a M-5 style bumper and both wing and bumper were repainted (not the best paint job - little "orange peel" in the clear coat) this is not noticable from a few feet away, and does not show in pictures. The rear passenger window does not go down (but it sounds like motor is working) I have not had this looked at, a few door dings, and clear coat is peeling from driver's side wing mirror, some marks on carpet in trunk, rear cup holders need replacing and some of the digital dashboard numbers are faint but still legible. I give this car a 7 out of 10 and with a little TLC it could easily be a 10. I just had the car looked at (Monday 8/11/08) by Precision Automotive of Delray Beach and it checked out fine except for a pin hole leak in the radiator, therefore I'm replacing the radiator this Tuesday or Wednesday (as soon as the part comes in). I want the car to be right before selling it. The car will be ready by the end of the week. Payment for this auction is not expected before the radiator has been replaced. I'm sorry for any inconvenience.
