Vehicle Description
I am selling my 540i M Sport. This is a real Sport model. Go to the following site to read about these awesome and limited edition BMW's: http://www.kindel.com/bmw/m540_info.htm The Sport package was an $8000 option. Don't confuse this car with the 540i with just the sport seats.
BMW only made 200 of these cars and this is the real thing. Car is stock except for replacement of the troublesome and expensive EDC III Adaptive Suspension. The suspension is now Bilstein/Bavarian sport springs.
The exhaust is BMW stock muffler that was modified by Dinan. The sound is simply awsome. I have also replaced both CAT and oxygen sensors.
This particular car was an automatic but was converted to a 6 speed standard shift using all BMW parts. The 6 speed was bought from Whit Lowell and the differential is a 3.15 ratio large body unit. The conversion created a awesome performance machine. The conversion work was professinally done by Eurasian Motosports in Duluth, GA. Due to my busy schedule I have not had time to take it back fo them to eliminate the "Trans Prog" light. This does not in anyway affect the performance it is just looking for the automatice transmission.
Interior is in superior condition. There is very minimal wear on the driver seat side bolster where these seats wear most. I simply slide the seat back whenever I get out of it to minimize the wear.
The exterior is in excellent condition with no damage. There may be one or two very small PDA type dents that will not show up in a photo and not noticeable. The paint is in superior condition and a beautiful Helrot Red. Carfax shows a 2003 accident, which was not on record when I bought the car. The repairs were properly completed and the car was sold to a PA dealer in 2004. I had a minor accident in 2005 when someone hit the rear bumper. Repairs were completed to the bumper cover.
Don't worry about the miles. The block was replaced by BMW at 99,000 under engine replace warranty program. I have documentation. The engine is in super condition. I run synthetic fluid in all the drivetrain.
There is some road rash on the front spoiler and front edge of hood. Bottom line; this car has been well cared for and babied. It is kept covered when not in the garage.
Tires are practically new Bridestone Proxes. Drive anywhere. The A/C works great and I have never had to add freon....no leaks.
