Presented for your approval; one 1978 BMW 633CSi. It is a bolt stock original example. Own a classic. This coupe is a touring car from an era when there were such things!

Though the previous owner let it sit idle for about 10 years, I have brought it back to running admirably. It has had extensive mechanical repair/refurb: new rotors and calipers, new clutch slave cylinder, head replaced, and so on. Notable attributes:

While it is a thirty year old car, it still looks fantastic and drives well, and there is none of the rust or cancer that you would expect. There have been no body repairs of any sort; they’re unneeded. The white paint buffs up well, the interior is immaculate, as the photos attest, though they don’t do the car justice.
The interior is excellent. The leather and carpets are unblemished. In pursuit of a heater control problem, a previous owner’s nightmare garage did considerable disassembly of the dashboard. They subsequently went out of business, and the car was reclaimed as it was. I have had the heater control problem (valve on coolant line) fixed, the dash reinstalled. Cylinder Head replaced. The nightmare folks apparently still have the radio, which remains missing. The instrument cluster was replaced due to gauge damage in the aforementioned dash adventure. A replacement speedo/odo was set to the mileage per the original.
This BMW is ready to drive or show, and with some attention could easily be ready for Concours events. It passes rigorous NY State Safety Inspection, yearly. With a venerable, strong 3 litre 6 cylinder engine, 4 wheel disk brakes, and Teutonic engineering throughout, this car is a joy to drive, highway, country road, or city. The only known issues remaining: Cosmetic trim piece driver’s door (connects arm rest/door handle top to door)Lacks radioNeeds shocks all roundClimate control fan/system needs going throughSunroof, though functional, is sluggish
