1989 was the last production year for the classic 6-series (E24/M6) considered by many to be the most beautiful BMW touring coup ever. These were offered at $47,000 new and they were the flagship BMW for luxury and performance, deisgned for high speed Autobahn driving. Mine is urmine white w/ factory black pinstripe kit. It has NEW Black calf leather interior (seats and door panels), headliner is perfect, carpet is grey berber w/ correct black matts. It is an automatic with select sport shift options. Engine is the strong and famous straight six ( 265 bhp@6500rpm/0-60 in 5.7 sec/top speed 137mph). It has 17" correct BMW wheels w/ NEW (100 miles) Perelli high performance tires (225 R45 17) Bilstein shocks all round (fron new). Big rotors and pads (front NEW). Dinan Stage 3 suspension. Fresh NEW battery (5/10/08). NEW water pump (4/16/08). Opitons include: power sun roof, power door locks, driver air bag, power windows and seats, heated seats, air, Alpine stereo/CD 9847 head unit, new140 watt speakers, trunk mounted amp, iPod cable and control from dash, original owner's manual, original (complete) tool kit, good spare and jack, power antenna, BMW front gounf effects spoiler, factory rear spoiler. Power steering, trip computor. This car is immaculate througout. Paint, chrome and glass near perfect. All repair and service records since purchase (and before) July '07 from private party in Bay area. Registered through Sept. '08. Insured and garaged, comes with car cover. Runs very strong and smooth. Engine in tight. Does not leak/burn oil. Transmission is tight and shifts strong. Power steering (rack and pinion) is responsive and tight. All electrics work though I have never used the computor as car was driven locally to work daily (8 miles). Any and all inquiries welcome. This is an awesome car (I've owned two and loved both of them, though I preferred the five speed). The car has a few minor blemishes and such as one would expect for a car of this vintage but you'll be hard pressed to find a finer quality 635 CSi.

I inadvertantly identified my steering as R&P..it is a standard box. Seems I transposed (innocently) the horsepower data with the M6 data which in my manual is compared side-by-side. Sorry, a late night listing!. Thanks guys for the heads-up.
