I have for sale a 1982 733i BMW 4 door sedan. It has an automatic transmission and clean engine. The body of the car has 300,000 miles on it, however a new engine and rebuilt transmission were put in at about 160,000 miles. It has red leather interior. the body is in excellent condition, with the exception of some faded paint and the repaired dent on the back driver side corner (shown in picture)! The interior has a few tears in the seats (the biggest in the driver seat which is shown in picture) and stains in the carpet. It runs great, except when at idle, there seems to be a problem, but I am unsure of what it is. The rpm's bounce and it stays at a real low rpm. As soon as you get going, it is fine until you come back to idle. It burns antifreeze and the ac/heat only works on the defrost setting. You can get both cold and warm air from the vents, however, this is the only setting that it works on. I would not hesitate to drive this as an everyday driver. The title is clean. It has at least half the life on the tires. It has a cd player, sunroof, and many electronic options that I cannot even begin to list them all. There is a panel on the left side of the steering column with many different displays to show if something is wrong with the car. The website listed below shows the pricing on the car from NADA at around $3500. You are welcome to come check it out and take it for a test drive with a valid drivers license. I am not a mechanic, so I cannot say for sure what the problems are, however I described them without leaving out any information. Buyer is responsible for pick up in washington boro, PA, which is in lancaster country. Buyer is also responsible for tags, all applicable taxes, and title transfer of the vehicle. There is a notary about 5 minutes from my house, so transferring it should not be a problem. There is a $100 deposit via paypal within 48 hours, unless you plan to come pick it up before then.
