full story of the car
-72k customs shop owner JT (BMW pro chassis) rebuilt and built the motor/tranny: HG, pistons, rods, resurfaced head, arp head and main studs, je prospeed rings, valve job all seals replaced on tranny along with fresh syncros, 3.17 diff put in, tranny reinforced new clutch flywheel, piping, strut towers, a lot more that I am forgetting
-78k I began servicing it at ICS in Stamford, CT, a very reputable shop for their skill and knowledge
My trips to ICS:
1. (79K) Emissions passing, installed a hi-flow cat
2. (80K) I realized that the amount of Oil I was loosing was not right- replaced front and rear main seals, oil pan gasket, valve cover gasket, new power steering lines, new belts, new #42 injectors flow matched with Nick G. Tune and stage 2 TT software, new guibo, stock alignment, installed Quicktime performance electronic exhaust dump, 90 degree elbow welded on to turbo for better hot charge pipe clearance. It made 440rwhp uncorrected on dynojet. The dyno sheet was stolen from me by a drunken man who fell in love with my car but if that really is an issue and you are serious, I could probably get it dyno’d.
3.(82k)Replaced head gasket and rebuilt turbo
4.(85k) Turbo not draining correctly, rebuilt once again and installed Mike Radowski oil scavenge pump, new battery.
87, 700 now running 100%
I have all receipts from ICS including an inch thick folder given to my by the previous owner that owns a customs shop and built the motor.
Long story short every single issue that this car had was addressed by ICS in Stamford CT and they know the car very well. They have worked with me to get the car to run 100% and it finally does and it’s sad that I cannot enjoy it because of lack of funds and my decision to once again go back to school
It honestly is THE ultimate driving machine, a true head turner and crowd pleaser. People are constantly immersed in its beauty and power.
The car is driven now on 6psi low boost and 14psi high boost.
The customs shop owner made 540rwhp with a TEC3R @ 14psi, but I received it with the AA tuning, and it currently has the Stg2 Nick G.
FLAWLESS COMPRESSION AND LEAKDOWN TESTS.
Never moneyshifted, beat on, clutch dumped, raced, however if you are willing to give it a beating, it will run 11's. I bought the car to bring to shows and to have something to be proud of, and once in a while enjoy a little thrill, now its time to let it go due to bills for school.
This car was built using the best parts possible, just look at the mod list. Oil was changed every 2,000-3,000 with Royal purple by me and castrol syntec when taken to ICS.
All sales final. No implied warrenty from the seller. Buyer pays shipping.
