This auction is for a 1989 Bentley Turbo R.

The commissioning of a beautiful object is a singular event; an occasion to celebrate.
Be it sculpted bronze, an ocean-going yacht, a contemporary furniture classic, or an

In 1985, a car which had benefitted from attention to the chassis was launched in the form
of the Bentley Turbo R. Though the company stated that it didn't position itself on the
leading edge of fashionable automotive phases it could hardly be denied that the Bentley
Turbo R was placed just there. The 135 mph Bentley Turbo R was launched at the Geneva Show
in March, 1985. It was said that the Bentley Mulsanne Turbo should remain in production too.
But this decision was revised when within a short period interest in that previous model
faded at an almost shocking rate because the Bentley Turbo R was superior in handling.
This is a 1989 Bentley Turbo R, the ultimate in British Elegance, Design and Comfort.
This high specification Turbo R is finished in black with grey leather complememnted by black piping.
Under the hood sits a 6.75 litre V8 engine with exhaust driven turbocharger and a 3-speed automatic
gearbox. This vehicle delivers smooth, effortless driving characteristics with excellent reserves of power
while maintaining a luxurious feel. It features some special extras - veneered picnic tables to the
rear and fully veneered door inserts. Loaded with power options, including: Pwr. steering, Pwr. Brakes,
Pwr. windows, Air Conditioning and many more. Runs and drives great, a beautiful British sedan.
