This is a very fine to mint state 1924 BUICK TOURING, MODEL 24-FOUR-35. I have been working on this car for years and the person I bought it from had work on since 1975 when he got it in fair condition. This car has new top, new floor boards, new running boards, and new paint, (three years ago). The motor and transmission are in excellent condition. The motor runs very good. I stopped driving in to seal the inside of the gas tank and when I starting the motor last June the water pump is now leaking water but it still pumps to the radiator. As you can see by all the pictures, I put in here, the car it in amazingly great shape for this 84 YEAR OLD car. The car is all original parts with the exception of two small parts, advance spark and throttle gears at the bottom of the tearing column. The Car is 98% completed. The things that need to be completed to make this car 100% are. Lights need to be connected. Some leather trim work needs to be re-installed. The hood needs to be put back on. Front brakes need to be adjusted. Running board chrome steps need to be installed. And that is about all that needs to be done. All the parts for the above work is in the car in boxes. THE STORY: As it was told to me when I bought the car. In 1924 the car was bought in Oregon by a well to do business man. He drove it on the weekends and in the summer on good days. This was his Sunday drive car. When he died his wife put it in their garage and left it there. In 1975 it was found by the second buyer in, needless to say, very neglected condition but fully in tacked. He brought it to southern California by trailer. In 1976 work was begun to restore it. When I bought it It was half done and many thousands of dollars were spent on it. I brought it to its present condition. For close to 70 or more years this car has not had a lot of miles put on it, and I am told the mileage on the odometer is the true mileage. Now other then what I have told you I have no other proof of the history of this car other then the condition of the car now. Most of the paper work on the restoration of this car has been lost in move from one place to another and time. Feel Free to come and look at the car if you can, or ask any questions. I will try to answer them for you. Why am I selling the car???. Because I need the money. I am retired and can no longer afford this kind of hobby. I would love to see this car get a good home. You can come and pick up the CAR at my home or I will deliver the car to you for $1.25 Per Mile One Way. If over 500 miles we can talk about that. I do not accept PayPal under any conditions. Payment must be in three or more checks or money orders under $9000.00 each.
