1958 Buick Limited Convertible
This car was in a museum for many years and was in a fire that destroyed over 50 cars. This was supposedly an 18,000 original mile car although it can’t be verified. The value of this car is the limited cross section convertible frame with serial numbers and the top mechanism. It is not a difficult project to find a limited coupe in nice condition and cut off he top and change the frame. Use the color plate from the coupe and the serial numbers of the convertible and you have a real ’58 limited convertible. There were only approximately 800 of these cars ever made. The last few have past well into the $200,000 range. It has a clean title. I wanted to keep this, but I don’t want any more projects. This is a picture of the limited before the fire.
