1969 Buick Electra 225 Convertible - California Car
This is one of the nicest Electra’s I have seen and has been meticulously maintained. It drives wonderfully and looks show quality. Rarely do you see a Buick Electra in this condition and maintained to these standards.
If you want a Buick 225 this is the car. None Nicer !
This is an extremely clean car in show quality condition. Everything works and has been meticulously maintained. The driving experience in fantastic with the strong running engine and smooth transmission. It also has power disc barks which stop the car wonderfully. Drives like new.
Along with one of the largest production engine of the period, the Buick Electra 225 Convertible represented the top of the line model and was complete with a power top, air-conditioning, power seats, power windows, power top, power steering and power brakes. It suited the period well. As the muscle car was emerging as the next big thing, Buick did its best to mate the “muscle car concept” with an elegant convertible for comfortable every day use. This car has been has been represented as a “survivor car” and I have every reason to believe this. The car has the original sound and moisture barriers as installed by GM. The undercarriage, engine bay, and interior are of very high show standards. Somewhere along the way it received a professional re-spray that looks very original. It takes a trained eye to notice. All the moldings and chrome removed and replaced perfectly.
I expect this car to go to the right buyer and hope the bidders for this wonderful example understand the value of its rare beauty. The Electra nameplate was to the vehicles overall length of 225 inches. Earning the street name of “deuce and a quarter”. Everything works!

This beauty is a great running car that is complete with all the power option as expected and features its original leather which is in fantastic shape. While this car remains largely an original example in excellent overall condition.
