THIS IS A 1987 BUICK GRAND NATIONAL 3.8 LITER TURBO. THE CAR IS VERY STRAIGHT AND HAS NO BODY DAMAGE. THIS CAR IS A HARDTOP AND HAS NO RUST. THE PAINT IS THE ORIGINAL PAINT AND IS IN GOOD CONDITION WITH THE NORMAL AREAS OF WEAR, SUCH AS, THE HOOD AND ROOF SHOWING SOME SPIDER-WEBBING IN THE CLEAR(MORE-SO ON THE HOOD). THE WINDOWS ARE TINTED DARK AND THE TINT IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE INTERIOR IS IN GREAT SHAPE WITH NO TEARS IN THE FABRIC. THE DASH IS IN GOOD SHAPE OTHER THAN MISSING ONE PIECE(SEE PIC). IT IS THE PLASTIC PIECE IN BETWEEN THE WINDSHIELD AND THE FRONT DASH PAD. THE CAR HAS WELD DRAGLITE ALUMINUM WHEELS THAT ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE REAR ARE 15X10'S WITH 295/50R15 SR5000 RADIAL TIRES. THE FRONT ARE 15X8 WITH 225/60R15 BF GOODRICH FUZION HRI TIRES. ALL TRIM IS IN GREAT CONDITION. THE ONLY THING MISSING IS THE WHEEL WELL OPENING TRIM AROUND THE REAR OPENING SO THE WIDER TIRES WOULD NOT INTERFERE, BUT IS NOT EVEN NOTICEABLE. NOW ONTO THE ENGINE AND DRIVETRAIN: 3.8L TURBO INTERCOOLED V-6. THE ENGINE WAS REBUILT 13,000 MILES AGO. DURING THE REBUILD, IT GOT A RECON CRANK KIT WITH THE ROD AND MAIN BEARINGS BOTH ON .010. THE RODS AND PISTONS ARE STILL STOCK WITH NEW RINGS. IT HAS A DOUBLE ROLLER COMP TIMING CHAIN AND GEAR SET. A NEW COMP ROLLER CAM(#69-200-8) AND LIFTER SET. THE HEADS HAVE BEEN PORTED AND POLISHED. NEW SPRINGS AND RETAINERS WERE INSTALLED. THE INJECTORS WERE REPLACED WITH 42# INJECTORS. THE TURBO WAS REPLACED AND IS A NEW, NOT REMAN, WITH RIGHT AT 5000 MILES ON IT. IT IS PART # TA-49. ALL THE HARD PARTS, SUCH AS THE BLOCK, HEADS, INTAKE, VALVE COVERS WERE POWDER COATED DURING THE REBUILD. THE BLOCK AND HEADS ARE BLACK. THE INTAKE AND VALVE COVERS ARE SILVER. ALL NEW SENSORS WERE INSTALLED AT THIS TIME. IT HAS A CUSTOM MADE COMPUTER CHIP TO MATCH THE AFTERMARKET UPGRADES SUCH AS THE CAM, TURBO INJECTORS. ALSO, THERE IS AN ELECTRIC WALBRO 307 HIGH FLOW FUEL PUMP IN THE TANK. ALL HOSES AND THE BELT ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. THE TRANSMISSION IS THE STOCK TH200R4. IT WAS REBUILT ABOUT 14,000 MILES AGO. IT RECEIVED A NEW FRONT PUMP, NEW INPUT SHAFT A 3000 TCI STALL CONVERTER. OF COURSE, ALSO RECEIVED ALL NEW SEALS GASKETS AND FILTER. SHIFTS GREAT AND DOES NOT HEAT UP. THE REAR DIFFERENTIAL IS A STOCK LIMITED SLIP 3.42 RATIO. IT HAS RECENTLY BEEN SERVICED WITH NEW OIL AND A NEW INSPECTION COVER GASKET. THERE WAS NO SIGN OF WEAR INTERNALLY, JUST FELT LIKE IT WAS TIME SINCE ALL ELSE WAS GONE THROUGH. ADDITIONS TO THE INTERIOR ARE: AS STATED BEFORE, ALL THE FABRIC IS IN GREAT SHAPE. THE FACTORY GAUGES ALL WORK. IT DOES HAVE A FEW AFTERMARKET GAUGES ADDED INCLUDING: ON THE DRIVERSIDE PILLAR THERE ARE 2 GAUGES MOUNTED IN A DUAL A-PILLAR POD, WHICH ARE AUTOMETER PRO-COMP WATER TEMP AND AIR/FUEL RATIO. ON THE CONSOLE BELOW THE STEREO ARE 2 AUTOMETER GAUGES, WHICH ARE TURBO BOOST AND OIL PRESSURE. IN THE TOP LEFT CORNER OF YOUR LINE OF SIGHT THERE IS AN AFTERMAKET TACH. AS FAR AS THE FACTORY GAUGES GO THERE IS A SPEEDO, DIGITAL TACH, AND DIGITAL BOOST GAUGE. BOTH VISORS ARE CURRENTLY OUT OF THE CAR AND PLATES ARE COVERING THE MOUNTING HOLES. THE REASON THEY WERE REMOVED IS BECAUSE THE SAGGED DOWN AND JUST SEEMED TO BE IN THE WAY. THEY ARE STILL IN MY POSSESSION AND GO WITH THE CAR. THEY PROBABLY JUST NEED NEW SPRINGS IN THEM. THE POWER WINDOWS WORK FINE. THE POWER DOOR LOCKS PROBABLY NEED NEW ACTUATORS BECAUSE THEY WILL POP, BUT NOT ENOUGH TO RELASE THE MECHANISM. THE CRUISE CONTROL IS ALL INTACT, BUT NOT FUNCTIONAL. THE STEREO IS A PIONEER CD PLAYER. THE SOUND IS GOOD WITH NO BUSTED SPEAKERS. THE ORIGINAL STEREO IS STILL IN MY POSSESSION IF INTERESTED IN IT. AS EVERYONE KNOWS, THESE CARS ARE BECOMING MORE AND MORE RARE. AND THIS ONE IS IN GREAT SHAPE AND IS ALSO VERY SOLID MECHANICALLY. SO GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING.
