Vehicle Description 1987 Buick Grand National. I have owned this Grand National for about six years, it's a very reliable car. I love Grand Nationals and have owned several through the years. This one is a hardtop in really good condition. The original paint started showing some chips and cracks so I had it stripped and re-painted a few years ago when I first bought it. The paint job still looks great today. It still has the original drive train including factory positraction rear. The engine compartment is not really that clean but it is all original as you can see from the photos. If you're into Grand Nationals like I am, you'll appreciate an original dirty engine compartment any day over a detailed heavily modified (butchered) engine compartment. This Grand National has the following factory options: Power windows, power door locks, cruise control, A/C, factory AM/FM with cassette player and EQ and Concert Sound option, power driver's seat, and fixed mast antenna. Car has the original Grand National chrome wheels, it has Goodyear Eagle tires on it in great condition, of course they're not the original Goodyears. This car has only 70k original miles on it, feel free to run the VIN, this is the actual mileage. That means that this car has only been driven an average of about 3,300 miles a year! I know there a lot of Grand Nationals out there that have much less miles than that, but you need a fortune to go anywhere near them. I set an extremely low reserve price on this car. Here's your chance to own a real Grand National at a very reasonable price, and you could drive this car to work every day, it's that reliable. The interior is in great condition. The headliner is brand new, I took the sunvisors off when I installed the new headliner last summer and I never got around to re-upholstering the sunvisors. So I still have the original sunvisors but they need to be re-upholstered. The A/C works fine, it needs a charge of freon. It has power door locks but the switch is sticking sometimes. The previous owner installed an aftermarket stereo in the car and gave me the original factory stereo. So when I got the car I pulled out the aftermarket stereo and plugged in the original stereo. I could hear the front and rear speakers but not the door speakers, they're probably unplugged but I never took the door panel off to inspect. If it turns out that the door speakers are blown, I will send the new owner a new set of door speakers. If you live near Putnam County, New York please feel free to contact me and see the car in person before you bid, I am very confident that you'll love it. If you're too far to drive over here and see the car in person, then feel free to e-mail me any questions to Trek126@aol.com I'll try to return e-mails quickly. The winning bidder is responsible for any shipping costs, it would be great if the winner were local, you could drive it home. I will accept almost any payment method but the funds must clear before the car leaves. I've been buying and selling on ebay for almost 10 years, I have 100 percent positive feedback. Click on my name and check for yourself. If you're looking for a nice Grand National that you can drive on a regular basis this is it. Even the "BUY IT NOW" price I set is way below the market value for this car.
