I am the second owner of this vehicle for the last 3 years and have just bought a new Buick Lucerne. This is my 3rd Buick Park Avenue Ultra that I have owned. The previous one had in excess of 200,000 miles when I sold it and it is still running great.
Appearance The pictures tell the story. The paint is a light bronzemist metallic which just glows in the sun with a shale tan leather interior. There are a few small knicks and chips as would be expected on a 70,000 mile car. The car is senior owned and has had superb care. The paint, as can be seen in the pictures, is extremely bright with a very clean interior. There is a small ding on the passenger side door, as can be seen in the picture with me pointing at it, where it got hit by a small stone thrown by an 18 wheeler. The chrome wheels and tires are in excellent condition. You will not be disappointed with the condition of this vehicle.
Maintenance I have always used Mobil 1 in this car with regular oil changes every 8000 miles. Other maintenance items such as front end alignments have been done on a regular basis. A new battery was installed approximately 1 year ago. New Michelen tires approximately 11,000 miles ago. Spare tire has never been on the ground.
Fuel Economy This car has been a real pleasure to own and has never let me down. This is a very smooth, comfortable, easy handling, fun to drive car with great gas mileage. I have actually been able to acquire, on longer trips (200 miles plus), in excess of 35 MPG at 60 MPH. To do this, the car must be driven as though you have an egg under your foot on the accelerator. Can you believe that kind of mileage with the comfort and convenience that this car offers? You should be able to easily, driving carefully, obtain 32+ MPG.
Performance Now for the performance, this supercharged car gives you the performance of a good V-8. It has excellent acceleration for quick safe passing or getting away from the stop sign quickly. How much more can you ask for when you have good performance along with fuel mileage of a much smaller car?
