1987 BUICK REGAL with 307 Oldsmobile V8 and the 'T'-Package
This car is literally ready for cruisin'. Pick it up in the morning and cruise with it that night. I recently moved and have decided I do not have room/time for the car. I have it for sale with NO RESERVE so the car will sell in this auction.
This car is all original and has never been tampered with. It has never been in an accident or smoked in. The interior is perfect, there are no rips, tears, or holes anywhere. Everything looks just like it did when new. I even have the factory floor mats. There are no dents, scratches, door dings or anything on any of the body panels. All chrome is perfect with no rust to speak of. The paint is flawless and only has a few rock chips on the front of the car around the grill from normal driving over its 21 year life. There is a small amount of surface rust just under the back of the doors, but it does not continue onto the doors or in the door jambs. The pictures show the spots and they are not anything to be worried about. The underside of the car is in great shape; the frame is solid. The car has 63,000 original miles and has been serviced regularly throughout its life. The engine is strong and will start on the first try everytime. I have all documentation for the car including service records, all original owners manuals, the window sticker and other documents as well.
All parts on the car are original except the obvious things like the battery, tires, and I had the exhaust replaced in 2004 because it had developed a leak.
The most interesting feature of the car is the combination of the "T"-Package (Y56), the 307 V8 (LV2), and the Blackout option (W02). I have tried to find out how many of there were made with at least the "T"-Package and the V8 but have been unsuccessful with every resource I have pursued. I have only seen a few V8 "T" Regals go through eBay since I have owned this car and none have been nearly as nice.
I purchased the car from the original owner in 2004 and have driven it periodically, but it has spent most of the time in the garage under a car cover.
All the pictures shown below were taken last August (August 2007) and the car has been in storage since then so it will look exactly the same as shown below. I have located the center cap that is missing in the pictures (it's the one with the Buick Tri-shield which is very hard to find, cost $75 for one). A custom fit car cover from CoverKing comes with the car as well.
This car is loaded with nearly every option available. Base price for a 1987 Regal was $11,562.00. The final price with all options and on this car was $16,902.00. Below is a full list of the options on the car.
