Vehicle Description
This is an outstanding example of a 1985 Buick Regal T Type Turbo with the WH 1 Package. This package is rarer than a grand national. Approximately 525 of these were made for 1985, as opposed to 2100 grand nationals. This car has the same mechanicals as the grand national. I bought this car in 1985 when it had 4972 miles on it. I sold it to my father in 1986 and I inherited it when my mother passed away recently. It has been in the family the whole time. The car runs great. I picked it up in Huntington, WV and drove it to the Youngstown, OH area. Set the cruise at 75 and had no problems. I would not be concerned to get in this car and drive anywhere.
The car has tilt, cruise, AM/FM/Cassette, dual remote mirrors, rear defog, power drivers seat, power windows and locks. The air conditioning blows cold. Tires and brakes are nearly new. I put a new battery in it and new hood struts. It has some rust on the bottom of the drivers door, and the passenger rocker panel. Also has a few scratches in the paint. See the pictures. Original interior is a little faded, but still looks good. Same with the original carpeting. I have the owners manual, warranty books, and a 1985 buick sales packet and all this will be included. CARFAX shows an accident 12/25/2002. The car was driven from the scene and professionally repaired at a Buick dealership. Car has a slight drip from the transmission, looks like a pan gasket. Not leaking bad, shifts good. No other leaks noticed at this time. Car was serviced at buick dealer 6/19/08and their multi point inspection showed no recommended repairs.
I have receipts for a new turbo, gas tank, alternator and other parts.
It would take very little to make this car show worthy.
