Vehicle Description
The Oswego Police Department is auctioning a 1973 BUICK RIVIERA BOAT-TAIL with custom snakeskin paint job, 455 engine, Goodyear Eagle GT2 20" wheels. Description
This vehicle was seized by our Police Department following an arrest and is being sold in as-is condition. Vehicle was privately owned, so we are not able to certify its condition. We have not driven this vehicle for any distance or length of time that would enable us to comment on its reliability. Do not assume anything not listed is included. No guarantees are implied or given on current or future mechanical problems or vehicle condition. New battery was installed late Spring '08.
This vehicle has been stored our exterior impound lot for several months. Vehicle interior is in fair condition with a rip in the passenger seat. Vehicle exterior is in fair condition; chipped paint and scratches, it has a custom paint job. I have tried to take pictures of the deficiencies.
Vehicle has a clear title which will transfer to the highest bidder. If you have questions about this vehicle please ask before bidding.

Terms and Conditions
Winning bidder must contact seller within 2 business days from close of auction to arrange an appointment for payment and pickup. Business days are M-F between the hours of 7:30AM and 3:30PM. An appointment is required for pickup, as times of availability vary. If no contact is made by the winning bidder within 5 business days, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next highest bidder, or dispose of it at our discretion. The registered eBay winning bidder is required to be present upon vehicle pick up, unless prior arrangement is made with the seller. Winning bidder is also required to have proper proof of insurance on the vehicle, in accordance with Illinois laws, before we will allow the vehicle to be driven away. Final payment and pickup are due no later than 7 days from close of auction, but is flexible upon agreement. Contact us to make an appointment to pick up the vehicle. Payment will be accepted in the form of cash only.No credit cards or personal checks will be accepted. Buyer is responsible for any pickup or shipping arrangements for this vehicle. Seller does not provide transportation service for buyers. If the vehicle is not picked-up within the 7 days or the agreed upon time frame, we reserve the right to re-list the vehicle, sell it to the next highest bidder, or dispose of it at our discretion. The vehicle is being sold in as-is condition. We offer no guarantees or warranty against any current or future mechanical problems or vehicle condition. The buyer assumes all risks for the vehicle.
