You are bidding on my 1973 Buick Riviera Boat-Tail that I purchased from the second owner. He purchased it May 16, 1986 in Morton, Illinois. It is completely original, except for the new base coat/clear coat urethane paint in the summer of 2007. It was completely stripped to bare metal and refinished in the original code "65" Burnt Coral Poly. No chrome or stainless trim was ever replaced, only cleaned and polished. The body, sheet metal, and floor pans show no sign of rust. The interior is 100% original and perfect. A major engine tune up was performed in April, 2007, consisting of new AC brand plugs, wires, cap and rotor, condensor, PCV, fuel and air filters, vacuum advance, vacuum hoses, carburetor kit and gasket. Compression tested on all eight cylinders ranged from 135 to 150 PSI. This 455 V8 is smooth, quiet, and has absolutely no issues. In addition, this car has all new hoses and all new belts, a flushed cooling system (clean) replaced with new Prestone. The a/c compressor and clutch was replaced, and evacuated and recharged with freon. New dual exhausts with correct chrome tips, all brake components thoroughly checked and serviced. The spare tire is brand new. This Riviera is "Road Ready." Equipment includes: Power steering and brakes Power windows and locks Six-way power driver's seat Tilt wheel and cruise control AM/FM Radio (FM is inoperative) Speed alert Lamp monitors Right door outside mirror Factory pinstripes Buick Road Wheels This car is show and drive ready -- no issues at all! Very dry under car after several days or weeks. International buyers are welcome; I can contact shippers for estimates to your port of entry. I am available by phone at 313-570-9322 anytime to answer any questions you may have. I do not sit by the computer, so the best way to communicate is by phone! My collection is too large and I must reduce. Good luck bidding!
