A CAR LIKE THIS DOESN’T COME ALONG VERY OFTEN……………….
Up for auction is my 1979 Buick Riviera 3.8 Liter Turbo Coupe.
This car has 25,000 original miles!
It is metallic pewter with a light grey velour interior. It has a grey ½ padded vinyl top and tinted windows.
It has all the available options for the year including a very large power moon roof.
Everything is in working condition, but the AC does need to be recharged or converted.
I recently replaced the battery, headliner and bumper fillers.
I just had it tuned up, the oil changed and had it professionally detailed.
I bought this car from a broker in Illinois who was selling it for the prior owners. They were an elderly couple who no longer needed a vehicle this large. With the exception of the headliner and bumper fillers, everything is original on this car and is in near perfect condition. This car has no rust, no dents…... not even a paint chip! Look at the photos; it’s a beautiful automobile and an excellent example of a luxury automobile from this period. The curves of this vehicle are stunning and considered by many as one of the best designs to come out of Detroit. A recent article entitled “Motor City Milestones” in Old Cars Weekly News and Marketplace identifies this car as a smart choice for car collectors. You will be hard pressed to find another car in this original condition, much less one with only 25K miles. This is a true survivor that has been pampered all this life. This car is a V6, and therefore much better on gas than its V8 counterparts.
I am selling this car because the economy in Michigan is very bad and I have a new family member on the way. I thought I could hold on to it, but that doesn’t seem to be the case.
