Up for bid is a 1996 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon with 73k two owner miles. Collector's Edition like every other '96 Roadmaster built. Click "get history report" above to view the AutoCheck report free. Massachusetts car with no outer body rust and a solid underside. Power provided by the multiport fuel injected 5.7L (350 cubic inch) LT1 Chevy Corvette-based V8 and 4L60E automatic overdrive transmission - lots of power. Tow package equipped with 2.93 rear limited slip gears - good for 5000 lbs. towing - but never had a hitch installed. Was a funeral car until a friend bought it earlier this year, so great shape inside except some wear in the cargo area. Drive anywhere!
Wheels pictured are offered with the car, but if the buyer would rather have factory steel wheels, standard tires with 50% or better tread, and correct Roadmaster spoked hubcaps, that buyer can deduct $700 and I'll install those factory pieces instead and I'll keep these 20" wheels.

Condition Report
ENGINE: Runs on all eight cylinders without ticking, smoking, missing, or knocking. Engine runs at proper temperature and there are no warning lights. Good battery charging system. Fresh oil change and new oil cooler lines. Runs strong.
TRANSMISSION: Performs flawlessly. Engages gears quickly and shifts through all four forward gears and reverse with good downshift and torque converter performance. Clean fluid with no burn odors or noticeable leaks.
EXTERIOR: Body: Body is very straight and solid. No outer body rust-through, no collision repair or distracting damage. Has a few small dings on the tailgate from cargo loading, and a one half inch blister of paint starting above the left taillight. Has a couple minor door dings not seen in pics, but minor. Above average. Paint: Paint is nice, shiny and all original except for a few touch up spots. Has some very minor light scratches as expected of age if you look hard enough. Still, above average for age. Other: Plastic bumpers are in good shape - front has a chip on the right corner, rear has a small scuff from "cargo" loading. Undercarriage is solid with some surface rust but not at all rotten - see the pics. Door jambs and tailgate sill and underhood inner fender have some small rust blisters as seen in pics - these are hidden areas where these cars tend to rust. Solid frame all around. Glass is all good. 20"wheels pictured are less than a year old and in great shape. I have an extra front bumper cover with good stainless trim free for the taking for the new owner. Nice window tint job, but check your local laws before registering.
INTERIOR: The interior is VERY nice. Extremely light carpet wear on the driver's side and some light cargo area wear are the only complaints. Beautiful steering wheel. Leather seats, carpets, dash, door panels and cargo area are all in exceptionally nice shape. Non-smoker's car - no smoke or other foul odors. Above average.
ELECTRICAL STUFF: All inspection items work (lights, horn, wipers, etc.) All the power stuff works except the power antenna - power windows, locks, power driver's seat, hot heat cold A/C through digital climate control, aftermarket AM/FM CD, tilt wheel, autodim mirror, power mirrors, cruise control, keyless entry, hatch release, rear wiper, and rear defroster all work.
DRIVEABILITY: Drives great! Steering and suspension are nice and tight. Alignment is good - tracks straight. Brakes work fine with good linings, and no noise or notable vibration. Tires are a matched set of good quality 20" radials with about 80% tread remaining all around. Solid exhaust with typical #7 manifold bolt shear causing a very slight exhaust leak when cold that goes away when warm. Quicker than a stately funeral car should be - zippy in town, smooth and quiet at highway speeds. Rear end is quiet and limited slip unit works great. Nice driving car.
Car has been inspected and will include a new NY safety/emissions sticker if sold to a NY resident.

Short version: Small deposit as listed (but fast) by overnight mail or Paypal within 24 hours. Balance due in 7 calendar (5 business) days from auction end. I'll pick you up at the Geneva, NY bus station or meet you or your transporter by appointment. $125 admin fee on this auction. Note that pickup times are ONLY: If you need DMV service (temp tags or new NY plates) - Monday or Wednesday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. If you do not need DMV service, above times or Tuesdays 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. or Saturdays 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Prepaid vehicles scheduled for transport can be picked up any time with at least 24 business hours' notice - have your driver call me. Sorry, but I work a regular full time job, too.
