This auction is for a 1971 Buick Skylark parts or repair. I bought this car and started sanding and realized that there is too much work for me to do. It has 93,488 orginal miles the previous owner had 84,006 miles. It has a clear title. It had a soft top that I scraped off to sand. The engine runs well it has oil leaks. The engine is a 350. The transmission shifts through all of the gears and also has leaks. I took out the seats and carpet to see how much rust it had and thats when I decided it was too much for me to handle and a buddy was not as committed to the project as I had hoped. The frame is rusty but as far as I know not rotted through. The car is mostly orginal except for the steering wheel and c/d player. It has factory a/c and power windows. It has basically been sitting for 5 years. It has dents and dings and is a project car. The brakes were working but when I was driving it around the yard they went out. I am not sure of all the work that it needs. I took more pictures than what are posted if you email me I can send them. I have almost all of the trim pieces. I do not have the rear glass it was accidentally broken by a family member. This is a pretty complete car and would make a great project vehicle.
