you are bidding on a very rare one of 114 cars in the world 1972 buick gs convertible with a 455 big block and auto trans ..this is a complete numbers matching car that is in need of a total restoration. blue book value on this gs is over 65000 dollars if you can even find one. i will try to describe this car to the best of my ability but please do not think your going to put the engine in and have a mint car, again it needs total restoration ! to start the motor and trans are pulled.the heads and manafold are off..the body is in fair shape, i have pionted out the bad spots in the photos..the quarters and fenders are fair with no holes visable but there is rust and seperation at the lowers of the vehicle..the flooors are pretty solid with 2 holes at the drivers and pass.side where the sills meet the floor twards the front. the inner sills have some pin holes but are not bad..the rear seat floor pans are weaker at the lowest point but the bulk of the floor is solid and held all 220 lbs of me. the trunk floor has 2 holes on both sides common fron a leaky top but appears to be mostly solid..the top is in very good shape and may have been replaced..this car was restored at one point in time and re painted the color you see now.. originally it was a tan color that matched the interior. the frame looks to be very solid with only 2 bad spots that i could see. a small area of rust at the front in the bay, about one inch. the other holdind the rear bumper braket. the interior is rough but complete..the worst being the front seat. the speedo reads 33000 k but title exceeds. dont know if it was flipped or broken..there are some parts missing from this car but i have a good 95% them.so far the hood,carb,some emblems,valve covers,ac unit,gearbox, and smog equip. are all i can see missing.there are some parts in the trunk but i dont have the key. i was able to see the exaust manifolds and the spare when i removed the back seat. i willl try to answer all e mails that i can also you can leave a voice mail @ 216-536-2263. i require a $1000 non refundable deposit in a 24 hr period via pay pal unless other wise dictated by buyer and seller prior. i will not accept 0 feed back bids...if you dont have the money do not waste my time please ! i have turned down thousands of dollars locally for this car so please dont think your going to get this car for nothing. buyer is responsible for pickup within 7 days of the sale unless other wise pre arranged where pament will be due in full in cash or cetified check.. thank you and good luck!
