1955 Buick Special 4 door hardtop. This car has a 264 "nail head" V8 , automatic trans. very , solid body, original paint and interier. The motor is curenty being rebuilt and is out of the car. I have purchased a complete rebuild kit and have had a machine shop press in bearings, clean and do the head work. The motor is ready to be put back together ( I can do this at no extra charge or you can ). The transmition is in great shape and is also out of the car, I have rebuilt the master cylender and started restoration in the engine compartment. The interier will need redone but the seats are in good shape and were covered years ago, that protected them. The car will need a headliner, carpet and door panel work. Everything on the dash works but the clock. The AM radio works great. The windshield is broken but I have another to replace it with, that will go with the car as well as other misc. parts and including a extra front bumper. The body on this car is in great shape with no surface rust or rust out , the paint is dull but I belive it will buff out and has some chips in the front. The trim on this car is in great shape. The bumpers need cleaned or rechromed. This car is missing nothing and would make a great driver/show car, a very easy project car, or a parts car ( but I thought Buik was to nice to part out ).
