Vehicle Description
I am listing my Father in Laws', very clean, very cared for, and quite loved 1999 Cadillac DeVille. He is now retired and soon will be heading back to his home land to fish on a daily basis and if clothes were optional he would leave them behind as well.
A few months ago, back when the snow was falling, the water pump failed and being that he has experience in fixing cars, he decided to fix the pump himself. Well, his knowledge, his tools, his space and his patience didnt last as long as the job required and we fear that maybe his efforts may have caused more undue than good, i was politely asked by my wife to just sell it 'as is' and hopefully someone knows more about modern Cadillac engines than her wonderful, good intentioned Father and myself.
I took the pictures and noticed a few scratches and some scuffs on the body which probably came from being in such a tight garage and from an elderly man that has lost some of the depth perception that he once had.
The car is clean, all the parts are there, and it will need a tow to a good new home.
I'm starting the bid at the just replacement cost of the brand new tires and the OE alloy aluminum wheels it is sitting on. If it sells for just that, it would buy him enough bait for many enjoyable days of well deserved fishing.

To answer the several questions:
The valve covers are in tact and are in the trunk, the water pump was not replaced, every thing he took off is in the trunk and as stated it does not start and will need to be towed from its garage location.
It is sold 'as is' 'where is' because i do not know the extent of the needed repairs.
All paperwork of its prior service history is present as well as the full owner manuals.
