An absolutely exceptional and completely rust free example of this 1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible with all it's original factory specifications including it's original 500 c.i. V8 engine, original owner's manual and factory options including automatic climate control, soft ray glass, steel belted radial white wall tires, power door locks, leather upholstery, 6 way driver power seat adjuster, high energy ignition, digital clock, auto level control, automatic transmission, power steering, power windows, dual power brakes, 4 wheel disc brakes and factory installed options including tilt and telescope steering wheel, remote control trunk lock, carpeted floor mats, twilight sentinel, rear window defogger, cruise control, illuminated vanity mirror, illuminated entry system, automatic door locks and with an after-market CD player! Purchased by most recent southern California owner from the renown 'Ed's Airport Service Cadillac', Cadillac specialists and resellers of Santa Monica, California with only 47,783 original miles in 9/1994 with previous registered owned stated by Ed's as being Hollywood actress Brigitte Fonda. Always garaged kept since purchase by mature and careful driving owner for the last 14 years! Rest assured this car has probably never seen rain or indeed been left sitting idle in the sun - obviously always garaged and without any rust whatsoever! The whole car is completely rust, accident and sun damage free - a highly cherished example with it's original factory color paint, newly upholstered leather interior and with a virtually brand new soft top (installed in 1999 and used only very occassionally since this time) and with a brand new glass rear window of this last and most desireable year fo this legendary classic Cadillac! The car looks very striking with it's original factory color 'Metallic Brown' (Code 69-T-6) color paint with only very minor dents and dings for it's age (in particular there are a couple of small dents on the rear trunk lid - see photos below) and it's matching beautiful condition tan soft top and headliner (new in 7/1999) with a brand new rear glass window with no tears or nicks and an absolutely stunning and gorgeous original condition 'Light Olive' and tan color interior with newly upholstered light tan leather seats and light tan carpeting, all in exceptionally rare and completely original condition throughout with no noticeable impefections! All the options are working as they should including all the power windows, the power soft top and only the power door locks and the A/C are not working. The original engine is extremely strong and powerful and this particular car drives absolutely magnificently - must be driven to be appreciated and seen to be believed - drives straight as an arrow with no strange road wobbles, shakes or rattles - a truly remarkable car that must drive almost exactly as when it left the showroom floor over thirty years ago and which needs nothing but a new proud owner! The full payment must be completed within 10 days regardless of a pick up date. In the event the deposit is not posted within the required period of time, the vehicle will be offered for sale to the next subsequent high bidder or relisted for sale. This is to be considered an absolute sale and the buyer is required to comply with all of my conditions in these terms of sale. By placing a bid and winning the auction you hereby agree to abide completely with these terms of sale and the terms of sale are to be considered a legal and binding purchase agreement. Once again, please note that there are no inspections to be made after the auction ends - please be sure to complete any inspection before bidding.
