Vehicle Description
We rescued this big roomy rear wheel drive Caddy from the back of the dealership's lot. We went through the car to get it road worthy. New exhaust from the catalytic converter back, replaced sway bars and bushings, and installed a new Interstate battery. We gave it a good cleaning and put it on the road.
The 5.7L motor starts right up! The car drives straight and tight. The brakes are good with no pulling or vibrations. Transmission shifts fine.
Car is fully optioned with the exception of a moonroof. PW, PDL, illuminated entry, PSeats (with powered recliners), cruise control, twilight sentinel, power trunk release and pull down all work as they should.
A/C working intermittently; heat and fan work properly. Antenna was clipped off but radio works. Tires are decent (one mismatch due to a flat). Level ride disconnedted. Rear springs will eventually need replacement. Body has two rust spots; passenger's door front near molding and rear right door near the handle. Paint on hood and trunk is faded/oxidized. Bumpers are rust free. Vinyl roof is very presentable.
Interior is presentable. Tear on driver's door armrest and driver's seat fairly worn but no tears. Small rip in passenger's seat near the crest. Headliner will need replacement.
I have done my best to represent this car to the best of my ability. I have only driven it about 100 miles so cannot make any further comments on its roadability. I encourage inspection of the car by you or your representative and will do my best to be accomodating. The car is registered and insured and can be driven by appointment.
