NO RESERVE, 1996 Chevrolet ASTRO, high top, conversion, Mark 3, very reliable for long travel. Inspected, high top, conversion, mark 3, TV/VCR, 172000 miles. Highway Mileages only. I travel everyday between 250 to 300 mile on this van. so the mileage that I put on, are highway mileages. I have never had any engine or transmission problem. Mark 3 is a luxury version of astro and there is common hearsay that their engines are for ever and this version and year is famous for its good engine and transmission. No check engine light on. I have been maintaining this vehicle very well and have many new parts, like radiator, belt, Brake steel wire. I used to prefer to get it fixed by dealers. Inspection is valid before the begining of NOVEMBER 2008. Mileage are accurate. I changed its Tires on Inspection time. "NO RUST," according to my knowledge, as I used to get it sprayed underneath to prevent it from rust. but again you need to get it checked yourself by mechanic as I am not responsible for anything after bidding and I am not mechanic.
There is damage on Driver front, involving left fender, hood and bumper. And after that I got it inspected from Ford Dealer. I know they are very particular about the condition of vehicle when they are doing inspection, and after that I drove more than 15000 Mile. I don't care about cosmetic aspect of vehicle. I care about mechanical aspect of vehicle. Everyday I have to go to Ohio from Pennsylvania about 250 miles. so I can not afford my vehicle to break down on my way. So mileages that I put on it, are highway mileages. My friend told me that if I buy used fender, he will change it for me. and I asked the price of used fender from used parts shop, they told me $80, but that was blue in color and my van is white and I did not know, how to paint that, so I did not get it changed. Bumper dent just need a push from inside because it is made of flexible plastic. Don't take my words, You can take my van to any mechanic shop and do your satisfaction about the, driver side, front damage and any effect of that damage on van or its functions. because this van is "AS IS" with no warranty implied or said.You need to get it checked before bidding, because after that seller is not responsible for anything. I am not a mechanic, so I described the vehicle according to my knowledge. The vehicle is used and has normal wear and tear and scratches
AC is not working in Condition. I am not AC lover in this high gas price. I don't know, what is fault and problem in AC. A mechanic will tell you better, when you take it to mechanic shop before bidding.
If we want to lock all doors by, driver side door, automatic lock button, It is capable to lock, but can not unlock. You can unlock manually. passenger auto lock button is excellent.
Milages may be increased if I have to test drive, for local potential buyers. Buyer is responsible for transfer, shipping and tax expanses.
I have put my van for local sale too. I have every right to call off/terminate this auction if I sold this van locally or for any other reason. I will need guidance about that. I will move on sunday june 1, 2008.
