Vehicle Description
For sale is our 1993 Chevrolet regular cab, long bed pickup with a turbo-diesel engine. It has many miles and has served us well with no major breakdowns short of a fuel pump some years ago. It has had regular maintenance with petroleum motor oil and filter changed every 3000-5000 miles. This was the first of 3 trucks with these motors that we purchased and is still the best one with the least problems. We are the original owner and have most records for it. We used it to tow a dual axle water trailer which it handled quite well. It has a combination pintle - ball hitch that is there and locked in place and the key is probably lost. The drivetrain is fine. The lights, wipers and A/C all work. What it needs is a complete front end rebuild with ball joints, idler and pitman arms and tie rods all around. It could use a new front seat rebuild as well as what is there is just a cover. The paint suffers from the typical peeling due to GM not getting the surface preparation right when they went to the galvanized body sheet metal. We have other GM trucks and they all peeled until the 1996 models came out. There are dents in the sheet metal with the tailgate the worst. The front tires are less than 40% and the rear tires are better than 90%. The tires are LT245/75R16. The bed cap has no rear door or door frame. There is a plastic bed liner.
