Up for auction is a 1978 C-20 Bonanza. There were just a few of these trucks sold. Great restoration project. The 350 cubic inch motor was purchased from Caroline Machine in Johnston, SC in 2001 at 120,000 miles. I have all the paper work where I purchased it at. This was a long block not just the short block. In addition to the new motor there was a new fuel pump, oil pump, water pump, radiator, alternator put on at the time the motor was switched. This truck starts and drives absolutely great. Almost all of the 27,000 miles on this truck were on the highway between Fl. and Sc. It has been setting in the barn for the past 4 1/2 years except for using it around the farm once in a while. The tires have 1/2 of there tread life left. The a/c pump bearing went out the last time we used it, but it was working fine up to that point. I will include 3 cans of freon with the purchase price (R-12). I would not hesitate to send my wife and grandson on a trip with this truck. I am that confident it will be fine. Am/Fm/Cassette Exploid speakers, power windows,locks, power brakes, tilt steering, 60/ 40 split bench seat, no tears needs cleaned (minor) new in 2000, New carpet also put in 2000, Aluminum mags, Tow package, Bed liner, Set up for bolt in goose neck plate, Bed rails, Tie downs on the sides of the bed look close at pics 3 per side, Sliding back glass, Block heater also. This would make a real sharp truck with just a small amount of work. I hate to get rid of it but HD has needs that require more funds. Good Luck bidding. Dual fuel tanks, Running Boards, Cab Lights, I have a few extra parts that I will through in also. Not sure what there might be until I start looking. I know there is an extre tail light lens, power steering pump, alt?, possible oil filters, plugs, who knows what else. I would like to put a warranty on this truck but you must understand that it is 30 yrs. young. This would make a great show truck if you are willing to give it some TLC. I will let you know how close we are torward the end of the auction if reserve has not been met. Good Luck
