You are bidding on a NOT STREET LEAGAL 1981 Chevrolet Pick Up Truck with a 454 engine and 4 speed transmission with granny gear, air conditioning, 4 core radiator, Black Jack headers that need replacing or welding around the head flange, Chilton starter that needs rebuild or replacement, Hydro Boost brakes need master cylinder or hydro boost valve replaced and I have an extra HB valve, has new clutch disk pressure plate. The engine transmission were rebuilt by me several years ago and have about 85,000 miles on them now. Some of the things that were done to the engine at time of the original rebuild were the heads and block were junked due to factory defects, a later standard bore seasoned 2 bolt main block and a set of the bigger oval port 049 corvette heads were assembled with the original crank, rods, flywheel and sheet metal. Heads had hard seats and new valves installed, guides knurled and machined for PC seals also a general matching light massaging of the ports and chambers to the Weiand high rise manifold and Holly 650 duel feed vacuum secondary carurator. Installed in the block are TRW forged pistons, true roller timing chain, RV cam, modified oil pump. I have the smog equipment and original parts that have been removed and go with the truck. It has cracked windshield and dents dings as with any older vehicle like this. I will see if I can dig up all specs and receipts that I may have. The Truck Is Being Sold As Is For Parts Only. It is not operational or street legal. Therefore, upon purchase, it will need to be either flatbeded or put on a trailer. Has a clear Planned Non Operating California Title.
