You are bidding on a Government owned and serviced low-mileage 1998 Chevy 3500 Crew cab cheyenne two-wheel drive cab/chassis with a 9 foot long flat/stake bed on it. It is powered by the long lasting 6.5 liter turbo diesel engine and automatic overdrive transmission. This truck has been owned and serviced by the city of Lewisville, Texas it's entire life and has only 70,850 miles on it. Carfax verifies the clean title and actual mileage on this one (click the CARFAX emblem below the pictures to see the entire report for free). THIS IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE WORK TRUCK. PLEASE LOOK AT THE 60 PLUS PICTURES I HAVE POSTED OF IT BELOW. This is a very lightly used truck and it shows. The truck has NO PAINTWORK, NO BODY DAMAGE AND NO RUST ON IT. You will have to hunt to even find a "door ding" on this truck. The paint is still in great shape with only a few minor scratches and rock chips on it. The bed is still in very nice shape. The stake sides and wood floor are still very solid, with no issues. The tires have about 80% tread on the front and 30% on the rear. They are all wearing evenly and smoothly. The interior of the cab is in super shape. There are no holes or tears in the vinyl bench seats, rubber floor mats or cloth headliner. The dash is still in great shape with no cracks. This one obviously belonged to a NONSMOKER as there are no burns, no smells and a clean ashtray in it, PLUS THE CITY FORBIDS IT. PLEASE NOTE: THIS TRUCK WAS ORDERED WITH NO RADIO.
The city has a very strict service schedule for it's trucks and it shows. I have had the vehicle inspected by a mechanic. He found it to be in good mechanical shape with only normal wear. I have had the filters, fluids and belts all inspected and serviced as needed. THIS TRUCK NEEDED VIRTUALLY NOTHING AT ALL DONE, IT HAS BEEN SO WELL SERVICED. IT HAD A NEW INJECTION PUMP INSTALLED IN NOVEMBER AT 69,274 MILES!! This truck will have the updated pump so no issues there, plus its brand new. It also has a new A/C compressor on it. This truck has no leaks, no drips and does not smoke. The transmission shifts out solidly with no problems. THIS TRUCK IS READY TO BE DRIVEN ANYWHERE AND BE PUT RIGHT TO WORK. All the electronic equipment works like new. The air conditioning is ice cold and the heater warm and toasty. There are just no known problems with this vehicle. I take pictures of all my vehicles as they are when they come to me. I don't detail them and shine them up to hide stuff in the pictures. The pictures of the underneath show you the normal road dust and the fact that there is NO RUST. I will have this one detailed and awaiting the winning bidder. THIS IS A NICE WELL MAINTAINED TRUCK. IT HAS NO PAINT WORK (EXCEPT FOR SOME MINOR TOUCHUP ON THE HOOD), NO BODY DAMAGE AND NO RUST ON IT. THE BED IS IN GREAT SHAPE WITH NO ISSUES. THE BODY IS STRAIGHT WITH ONLY A FEW VERY MINOR "DOOR DING" TYPE DENTS TO BE FOUND IN IT. THE BED HAS ALL THE STAKE SIDES AND THAT ARE ALL SOLID. THE WOOD FLOORING IS STILL IN GOOD SHAPE WITH NO ROTTING. THE TIRES HAVE ABOUT 80% TREAD ON THE FRONT AND 30% TREAD ON THE REAR. THEY ALL MATCH AND ARE WEARING EVENLY AND SMOOTHLY. THE INTERIOR OF THE CAB IS IN GREAT SHAPE. THERE ARE NO HOLES OR TEARS IN THE SEATS, FLOOR MAT OR HEADLINER. THE DASH IS STILL IN VERY NICE SHAPE WITH NO HOLES IN IT.
