Vehicle Description
Up for auction is a 1978 chevrolet 1 ton 4x4. it has bds 6inch lift springs in the front with offroad design drop shackles. the rear suspension is 8inch bds springs with a rear shackle flip. front dana60 with 4.88 gears and drive flanges. full hydraulic steering. front end was rebuilt less than 1 year ago. rear axle is a corporate 14 bolt with a welded carrier and 4.88 gears. the truck has 4 wheel disc brakes. the driveshafts all have 1350 u-joints end to end on the truck. the transfer case is a divorced np205 from a 1977 dodge power wagon. it has twin stick conversion done to it. the transmission is a sm465 manual from a 3/4 ton chev 2wd truck. heavy duty clutch new in feb. of 08. engine is a 383 chev small block less than 100hours on it. it has a new crank flat top pistons rv cam world products s/r torquer heads. edelbrock aluminum intake holley 670 truck avanger. the truck has a snorkel with two aircleaners where the glove box is. very well built. cd player, cb radio, sliding rear window, it has a 20 gallon fuel cell in the bed. 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust. heavy duty radiator with dual electric fans. front and rear recovery. tires are 44 inch super swamper boggers. i will deliver the truck within 400 miles for $1.25 a loaded mile otherwise buyer is responsible for pickup. upon winning of auction buyer to by certified check within 7 days.
