Up for bid is a 1987 C70 Chevrolet truck in good working condition. It has a detroit diesel v8 engine. 5 speed manual transmission. This was previously owned by a gas company and has remnants of air compressor systems and a PTO. I don't know if the PTO works or not. It has new brake lines and brakes on the rear. The brakes are hydraulic. New engine block heater installed over winter. The cargo area measures approximately 4.5 ft wide by 11 feet long It needs a new light switch, the headlights are hardwired to come on when the engine is on. Engine runs good and starts right up. A CDL is not required to drive this truck. The driver side door lock needs to be replaced. I have a new lock mechanism and set of keys, but haven't had a chance to install it. The tool bins on the side are lockable. This is a heavy duty truck that could be used to haul or tow all sorts of equipment. This same chassis and engine combo are used on tow trucks and dump trucks.
