Up for sale is a 1982 Chevy camaro with T-tops a 305ci small block with mild cam and 4barrel quadrajet carb. This car has an automatic transmission, and runs very well. Previous owner had a car bra on the hood and water settled causing rust on nose of the hood, could use replacement. There is also a dent in the drivers door, not too bad (fixable). Also the dash is cracked, just like every other chevy this age. Speedometer does not work, I believe it needs a new speedo cable, but I really haven't looked. This is a common problem in cars like this. Normally the driver gets a little speed under his foot, they go faster than the speedo reads out, and snap!!!! there goes the cable. Not a hard fix, and normally runs about $25 for the part. The tires that are on it are ok, but will probably need to be replace soon if you are going to drive it daily. A good idea, would be to find some iroc rims with the tires still on it, they would look much better than the steel wheels currently installed.
Please don't expect a $10000 show car for this price. Please do not show up thinking that you will talk over my head about the car, I am a Mechanic by trade and I know what it takes to fix cars, and what it cost. Just because I haven't restored this car doesn't mean I can't. I bought this car to drive long enough to fix my jeep now I am selling it. as is. I have too many projects and Do not have time for this one.
