This car is a 1988 Iroc Z and it is some kind of special edition, I think. If you know Irocs, most of them do not come with these wheels and this special interior. THAT IS MY THOUGHTS ONLY SO PLEASE DO NOT BOMB ME WITH EMAILS because I am aware it is probably just a regular iroc. This car is one owner and documentation to prove that will be included with the sale of the car. I bought the car to tear up and put all of the drivetrain and running gear in my 76 Vega Wagon, but I found an 86 Iroc rusted out with 77k original that has less computer controls on it then a 1988 and I am using that car, plus this one should be restored because it has NO rust or dents on it. It has a strong motor and trans and posi rear-end. The cooling system, ignition system, and charging system along with all the power goodies inside and lights all work. This car runs great down the road and is very powerful. It will go through curves just about as fast as you want without losing any traction, true but definately unbelievable. The dash board tops has cracks on it due to sun exposure. All you do is tap the key and this car springs right to life. I have drove it on 100 mile trip to the coast and it does REALLY well with no problems. The tires are Eagle GT 245 50 16 HR and appear to be new and the hold REALLY well. It has not been registered since 2006 but the fee's have been paid and I believe it has a non-op status. I have no clue if it will pass smog, so it will be sold with a bill of sale stating sold as-is with no smog. I have sold this car twice on ebay and had deadbeats that would not return contact and bad phone numbers both times. Please just do not bid if you do not want this car or if you do not have the cash available right now! I am not ending the auction early under any circumstance and I am not parting it out. The car is ready to get in and drive, period. As I said, it is sold as is and how it is yet I am letting you know anything that I know that is possible wrong with it. I am not hiding anything and being totally honest. Would I drive it to Arizona as it is, probably. The bad things are that the drivers seat is well worn but can still be sat in fine and the power controls work, the dash is a mess from being sunbaked but is all there and can be covered with a dash rug, the right side mirror is cracked but useable, the oil pan drain plug is slightly stripped and therefore is does ooze oil. The paint is peeling off the front but that seems to be the only place and the rest still looks good along with the IROC labels on the side.The title is clear and there are no surprises. Buy it and drive it home but be careful because this car likes 90 better then 55!
