Pro touring, turbo camaro convertible
One of a kind show car. It is an 1987 Camaro convertible. 1992 Z28 ground effects spoiler. First year for the Convertible in this body style, only 1558 produced. This car became a show car in 1992. Painted Lamborghini pearl orange and Cadillac silver. Pontiac inspired hood, motor, and interior.
Drivetrain: 1989 Turbo Trans Am motor 3.8 litre turbocharged V6 built up to 274 cubic inches. Engine work done by AES Racing in Elk Grove Village, Il. Turbonetcs t60-1 Turbo, capable of 26 lbs of boost. Currently running at 17 lbs on 93 pump gas, 55 lb injectors, separate pumps and filter per fuel rail. Engine management controlled by a F.A.S.T. computer. Tial waste gate, turbonetics blow off valve. This car has 528 Hp at the rear wheels at full power. Custom down pipe and 3 inch exhaust. Four speed TH700R4 Race Transmission with a 3500 Stall converter. GM 10 bolt rearend with 3.23 gears and Moser axles. All Hotchkis suspension front and rear. Car is lowered 2.5 inches in the back and 1.5 in the front. 1LE factory brakes with slotted rotors.
Wheels are 20 X 9.5 inch Boss motor sports 304 rims in the rear and 18 X 9 inch rims in the front, less than 300 miles since installed.
INTERIOR: 1989 Turbo Trans Am with TTA Dashboard and console. Recaro Racing Seats with matching Recaro fabric on rear seat. 6 point Custom built Roll Bar. New Black soft top installed in 1992 only used about 10 times. White gauge faces. Pioneer AM/FM/CD with custom speakers and Alpine amplifiers. Custom made car cover.
At the track where it did 10.63 in the quarter mile. This car has been taken out mostly for shows and won trophys at World of Wheels, Vettefest, and Super Chevy shows in its class from 1994 to 2005

I have just lowered the reserve in order to hopefully get more bids over the holiday weekend.
I have also had a lot of questions about drivability.... the car would have no problem driving anywhere, coast to coast!!! The only reason I would prefer it to be trailered or shipped is so the near perfect paint doesn't get damaged or rock chipped.
