OK here we go again thanks to the geniuses at ebay I hope I will get my bidders back and I have been and having severe back and leg spasms . All they had to do was email me and say revise and put your vin # in but instead they yanked my add and I have spent hours on their chat lines talking to their super geniuses and out of 5 people I was able to find one person that was very helpful so hope to have my bidders back and more and I apoligize for myself and ebay . And here it is 1981 real Z-28 I have just found out I have to have my 4th back surgery and my 3rd neck surgery in about 14 days so I do need this to move kind of quickly . My son and I have decided to let it go rather then let it set a year or maybe even longer . I can say since 2001 this car has had over $24,000.00 spent on it and its always been the best ac delco , napa or wise speed shop and you will also see it has been built for and by us . We love this car but this is the way it has to be now mind you we know were going to lose alot of money but the money we lose is money and time and labor that you save . You will not buy this car for $10 or$12,000.00 but we dont expect to get 20 for it either but look at this car good and bid to win . Nice paint , detailed built motor that runs excellent w/ all new complete ac , NEW condensor , compressor , lines , fitting , evaperator , everything period . beautiful interior the water spot you will see on drivers seat is from a cup when it dries it will go away , undercarriage , suspension . We also have the black head and blinker light bezels we just think the chrome ones look alot better there are things like that through out this car that you will notice . T-tops and bags are all in great shape and they DO NOT leak but the driver and passenger windows do mostly when you go through a drive through car wash . Im just going to start listing : Block : Bored .30 over decked .035- Compression is measured @ 10.18 to 1 Line bored enlarged oil feed galleys oil drain back screens all corners ground smooth , Camshaft .010 / .010 cast balanced index ground for accuracy ( exact throw for each for each journal ) Rods : profiled all edges smoothed and shot peened balanced index ground for accuacy ARP bolts Camshaft : Comp Cams Magnum # 12-246-3 HYD . gross valve lift in. 490 ex. 490 duration @ .006 tappet lift in. 274 ex. 286 Comp Cams roller tip rockers , new push rods , Trick Flow aluminum cylinder heads , APR bolts , ZZ4 dual plane intake , Holley 750 dual feed , Headers ceramic coat Walker w/2 chamber Flow Masters , Serpentine belt system all hoses and belt new replaced water pump new ac delco when I did the hoses figured Im there anyway have old one also . Went from electric to new 18" fan like a flex but much better keeps motor alot cooler , Transmission : 700R4 w/2500 rpm. stall Superior shift kit w/boost valve no lock up valve Corvette 2-4 servo w/ B&M mega shifter Rearend : 10 bolt 3:73 to 1 posi unit w/ all new bearings and seals new 5 leaf leaf springs an bushings and bolts new monroe h.d. air shocks new drums pads and calipers both sides , Front new h.d. coil springs and KYB h.d. gas adjust shocks NO SAGGING on this front end compare with others a couple years ago all polygraphite bushings , ball joints , tie rods , sway bar and controll arm bushings another figured do it all while I was there . Welded sub frame connectors - Paint off a 94 corvette Black Rose metallic , new alpine stereo w/ 4 new pioneer spkrs yes they are in the door but did not butcher like most do , Alarm Bulldog w/ dopler radar ( for movement when t-tops are off ) , Interior all kick panels and back panels are very nice no chips , holes , door panels are done in thin plywood the way they should be done the best way and all the seats are done in thick grey tweed with a thicker black vinyl , headliner is perfect in a thicker soft black cloth . Now the wheels and tires were all done in april Boyd Coddington wheels 8" in the rear and 7" in the front nice to clean not like another guys tires are BF Goodrich TA radials all 60 series P275 in the rear and P235 in the front we bought new the good ones emblems for the front and rear still have old ones theres nothing wrong with them we just had to have new ones when we put the chrome bezels on . THERE IS NOT A SPOT OF RUST ON ENTIRE CAR as you can see its always been in the garage . On one picture were on the highway and my son said show the rpms at a higher speed so at 68 mph Im at 2200 rpms perfect gears for what ever you want to do and yes they do bark hitting second its a neck snapper . I dont know about a 1/4 mile or if it beats corvettes or mustangs I have never raced period I have got on it and it moves pretty quick I do have the front end aligned every couple months and it doesnt matter if your at 55 or 95 it drives straight . This car was built for and by my 11 year old son and I we designed it and paid the best mechanic in St.Louis to do the work and I think for an 11 year old he did one hell of a job picking things out for this he is definatley is in to american muscle we say american muscle f k foriegn . Why ebay ? I hope we sell this car and never see it again I just dont want him to have to see it driving by this is a hard and sensative subject for us this is out first car we did together and we just really love this car he is really involved and into this hopefully it wont be our last project . The best times of my life were cruising with him and seeing his face when he could drive in out local parks or shopping centers we together chose how it ran and looked . I just hope we find someone who will apreciate and love what their getting we could not get gas or stop anywhere without having to talk to people about what a sweet thing this car is and when we would pop the hood the expression every one of them made . Our favorite was about a 70 year old woman she got out and ask to see the motor and even ask to sit in it that was AUSOME we did have to help her out of it though but it was worth it my son said we should have ask her to drive it . The doors shut perfect so DONT SLAM IT there is a picture on the passenger side the door isnt shut all the way look at the hood and door lines everything is set perfect . This is a great car ac is very cold it does not run over 180 degrees it has tilt steering hell the key in the ignition buzzer even works the lighter works . Ok now for the bad these are the things that do not work ( cruise control - rear window defrost - there is a like scrape in the drivers window tinting from a up and down bracket - the volt meter just stopped working - the high on the fan doesnt work but it still gets freezing in the car all the other switches do work - I cant think of anything else I mean this is not a perfect car but its not far Im sorry to all the other sellers but there is nothing to compare this one to Ive been told and I think its better then when chevy put it out . Its only had two owners and Im 47 years old so its had a pampered life also the windshield washer bottle isnt hooked up I have the bracket and bottle I took them off to clean and paint the bracket and never put them beck on . I also have the two chevy brochures to go with it also . Well watch the add as people ask and I think of things I will revise and tell as much as I can . So come drive it check it out I have jack stands if you want to get underneath it it doesnt matter I know youll love it car is sold AS-IS you know it and I know it what your gonna do when you hear and feel that rumble . The car will not leave for test drive without me I will do what ever I can to help ship or deliver and please if you dont have the money or dont want to spend this much just look at something else I am selling this car for a reason not because Im broke . I will only accept cash or direct wire to my bank I will only stop auction when car is leaving my driveway or the money is in my account . A person ask me a question so maybe this will help others also yes I do have new carpet and also expensive embroidered Z-28 mats and yes they painted the firewall brakebooster and the dash the whole defroster part . There are no cracks or holes or broken spots in any of the spoilers or flares also the tires and wheels are 15" also he ask if these cars are hot without AC and they are brutal you dont get alot of breeze in them two little windows and to have mine completely done was almost $1700.00 Im not an expert and Ill answer what I know but I wont step on another sellers toes and I put a new ac delco battery in april of 2008 and also my son and I have decided we will not relist this car some people if they dont get what they want they run the add again we will not. I think were very reasonable on our price guide so if you really want this car and want to save a whole lot of money bid on it this time around . We thank you people very much for looking but I do have surgery on the 4th so would like to have it wrapped for you to open by then Thanks again and God Bless

I also have both catalic converters in very good shape that are even in the boxes in case you need them for your inspections also I have a huge folder packed with all receipts even back to 1997 . I must say this has been an experience and not a good one I heard ebay use to be a good place to sell your car but now I see its like recess time for small children to come play . I am saying this for all sellers this is rediculous as you can see Im not a dealer unloading my crap or a rich person with 10 cars just to make a quick buck . this car has a whole lot of money in it and as I said in the beginning of my add YOU WILL NOT BUY THIS CAR FOR 10 OR $12,000.00 and that does not mean you wont spend that much either . So if you want to retract your bid go ahead but you will not buy a car that has over $24,000.00 for any less then $13,000.00 I WILL NOT SELL FOR LESS its not going to happen so if you want this car email me I will get right back with you . If I offended you oh well but these adds cost alot of money the car cost alot of money this is not monopoly with monopoly money . Thank you if you want the car it will cost you at least $13,000.00

I want to apoligize for the above add I didnt mean to offend anyone but I did want people to know what I wanted for my car . There was a purple Z something like mine with a $13,000.00 reserve and the high bid was $4,000.00 . I just would like to have serious bidders . I cant sell my car for less then $13,000.00 I thought I was kind of clear in my add but I got a couple emails that said I was sounding like a jerk and I didnt mean to sound like that and I apoligize and I thank you people for telling me .
