Up for sale is a 1968 RS Camaro, this could be an SS but I know for sure it is an RS by the front and rear lights. The car comes with a 396 motor from a 70' and with a Turbo 400 tranny, the best thing with this motor it has all the original parts and including original markings from factory! On the motor the casting number is 3969854. The motor has been taken apart for rebuilding but, all the parts to rebuild the engine come with the sale of the car. 10 bolt rear end. On the tag that is stamped on the firewall of the car it shows "68 12437 LOS 00790 BOD" and underneath that "A-2 PAINT" with research on this car this shows that originally that car was a V8 car, interior color red, exterior color black, with a white stripe, with a black vinyl top, and LOS stands for a L.A., California car. I have an early blue license plate that probably was once on the car. The car does have some rust. I have all the panels to fix the rust except for a rear deck panel that cost $50 from National Parts Depot. The rust is located on top of the roof where the vinyl top used to be but I did purchase a new top that needs to be welded on. The other area of rust is on the drivers side and the passengers front floor panel which I purchased new ones which they will come with the car. The other area which I talked about was the rear deck panel which isnt very difficult to replace. I did purchase a brand new still in the box right front fender for the car, along with new locks for the doors and trunk. The car does come with both inner fenders (not shown) and rear spoiler. Plus deluxe bucket seats with the rear seat plus the dash inside the car. Also comes with front bumper, front valance panel, header panel, grille. Glass, side window glass and quarter window glass. There is a wiring harness that is in the car, all of it is there. What is not included is the hood and left fender. I do have the title and it is clean and clear!! Car is sold AS-IS. Deposit is due within 48 hours of auction closing. If you have any questions about the car let me know I would be glad to answer them for you.
