Up for sale is a 1969 SS Camaro that I have owned for almost 30 years. It has a street-able big block Chevrolet engine in it. That is tire smoke in the 3rd picture, not the engine and I am a non-smoker too. It is a factory 4 speed car, and it also has a 12 Bolt Positraction differential in it with 3:08 gears. It has the original factory multi leaf springs in it and some traction bars or slapper bars bolted to the bottom of them to eliminate wheel hop. It is a factory 4 speed car, and the OEM casting numbers on the aluminum Muncie four speed transmission are as follows: Case: 3925660, Side Cover: 3950306, Tail Housing: 3857584, Bell Housing: 3899621 and the date code is P9S22A = An M21 Muncie Built on November 22, 1969 with the wide ratio gear set. It still has the original factory AC tachometer and the floor shift console with the original factory installed gauges in it. It has 15 x 8 Rally Wheels on the back and 15 x 7s on the front. It has factory power disc brakes with the original 2 piece rotors. This Camaro came from the factory painted Daytona Yellow and you can still see some of the yellow overspray in the trunk on the hinges and underneath the door panels inside the doors. It has the original factory installed standard black vinyl interior still in it and it is in excellent condition for being almost 39 years old in 5 months. There are no tears in the seats or the headrests, the carpet looks original also. This Camaro was built the first week of February 1969 at the Van Nuys, California assembly plant down near Los Angeles, California. The Muncie four speed shifts like it did when it was brand new, and the engine probably runs better than the original engine did when it left the Van Nuys GM plant. This Camaro is a really nice driver. If you would like a nice 69 SS big block Camaro this might be the car for you. The mileage on the original AC speedometer/odometer shows 18806 as you can see in the picture. This car is currently registered in California, and I have a clear California title for it. This engine will run all day long on 85 octane pump gas at about 190 degrees (water temp). It is very reliable transportation and fun to drive. The roof, quarter panels, trunk, floor pan, rear of the car and the SS hood are all original sheet metal that it came with from the factory. The front fenders were replaced with GM NOS fenders back in 1975 before I bought the car and that’s why there are no SS emblems in them. The second owner wanted that stealthy, incognito, COPO look when he was out driving it around. If you have any questions or would like to see more pictures, send me an e-mail and I'll get back to you.
